Cricket: the fastest bowler in the world, EVER?

The celebrated English bowler, Harold Larwood, triumphed in 1932 and 1933 with his incredible bodyline fast bowling.  It proved to be the only way to defeat the Australian legendary batsman, Donald Bradman.  But the gentleman managers of cricket sought to get the ex-miner working class player to apologise to the Australians for huis devastating and frightening success on the pitch.  He refused and never played cricket for his country again.

Analysis of old pictures and crude measures with stop watches estimated that the speed of his bowling might have been as high as 99 miles per hour.  Some 'experts' claimed an unlikely 130 mph.  But the world of cricket is still debating whether he broke the 100mph barrier.

The obvious questions is: as film of his bowling from those days exists, why cannot it be analysed and a definitive answer found?
